Web desk: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the domestic cricket schedule for 2025, including three first-class tournaments throughout the year, one ODI, three T20Is and one non-first-class three-day tournament.
At the National Cricket Academy Lahore, PCB spokesperson Amir Mir, Director Youth Development Azhar Ali and Director Domestic Abdullah Khurram Niazi said in a press conference, there will be a total of 21 domestic, age group and pathways tournaments in 2025, whose country There will be more than 10,000 matches across.
According to Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s vision, PCB officials will conduct age group events to give opportunities to young cricketers to participate.
After club, district and regional level events, the best U-19 men’s cricketers will be brought together under the guidance of 5 mentors for the inaugural 5-team Champions U-19 Cup and Trophy in October, November.
In this regard, Chairman PCB’s advisor Amir Mir has said, a plan has been set up to improve cricket, the aim is to bring out more talent.
