ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Navy has initiated a rescue and relief operation in the Arabian Sea to assist crew members from India and Indonesia aboard a distressed vessel.
Sources confirm that Pakistani naval forces are currently offering urgent aid to six Indian and one Indonesian sailor onboard the ship “MV Gautam.” The vessel was en route from Oman to India when a technical malfunction prompted the Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center in Mumbai to seek help from Pakistani authorities.
In response, the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency deployed the ship “Kashmir” to carry out the rescue efforts. The crew members are now receiving essential supplies, including food, medical treatment, and technical support, to stabilize their situation.
The Pakistan Navy reiterated its commitment to providing swift and effective assistance during maritime emergencies, showcasing its dedication to maritime safety and humanitarian aid.
