WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Pakistan and India were close to a nuclear war. He said he instructed his officials to contact both countries to initiate trade and meetings.
In an interview with an American TV channel, President Trump explained that he is using trade to eliminate hostilities and establish peace, and now both sides are satisfied.
Trump mentioned that, he has had very good discussions with Pakistan and emphasized that we cannot ignore Pakistan because “a clap requires two hands.”
He also said that, he was confident about India but has also discussed trade with Pakistan.
Pakistan’s desire is to trade with the U.S.; Pakistani people are intelligent, and they produce amazing products.
He further stated that the U.S. does not trade much with Pakistan, but despite that, he maintains good relations with Pakistan.
