When our sovereignty is challenged, we stand like an iron wall and prevail over our enemies in self-defense.”

He said that India displayed blatant aggression in recent days, calling it an unprovoked act of war. “Our armed forces responded with utmost professionalism, writing a golden chapter in military history. We acted in a way befitting a sovereign and dignified nation. The entire nation stands united like a wall with our armed forces. The blood of our soldiers boils at the sight of the enemy’s sinister designs. Indian airbases were reduced to ruins before their own eyes. Pakistan has achieved victory based on principles, and this is a moment of gratitude where the nation showers its armed forces with love and pride.”

He further paid tribute to the military leadership and courageous personnel. “I salute the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Sahir Shamshad, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Air Staff, and the Naval Chief on behalf of myself and the nation. I especially commend the Chief of Air Staff and his falcons who made the nation proud.”

Mentioning the martyrs, the Prime Minister said, “Shaheed Arzata Abbas was like a flower that withered before blooming. I salute the patience of every mother who sacrificed her child for the homeland.”

He also thanked the country’s political leadership and parliament, appreciating their unprecedented unity. “I thank my leader Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari for their wise counsel. I also express gratitude to journalists and social media users who responsibly countered India’s disinformation.”

The Prime Minister thanked global leaders including Donald Trump, Mohammad bin Salman, Mohammad bin Zayed, Sheikh Tamim, and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. “This speech would be incomplete without a special thanks to China. Over the past 78 years, China has always stood firmly with Pakistan in times of difficulty.”

He concluded by saying, “As a responsible state, we have responded positively to the ceasefire. I am fully confident that peaceful dialogue will be pursued to resolve all outstanding issues including Jammu and Kashmir.
