ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a security forces vehicle in Machh, Balochistan’s Kachhi district, carried out by militants affiliated with the Indian-backed proxy and so-called Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
In a statement issued on Monday, the Prime Minister expressed profound grief over the martyrdom of seven brave personnel of the Pakistan Army in the line of duty.
The martyred include Subedar Umar Farooq, Naik Asif Khan, Naik Mashkoor Ali, Sepoy Tariq Nawaz, Sepoy Wajid Ahmed Faiz, Sepoy Muhammad Asim, and Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan.
The Prime Minister paid glowing tribute to the martyred, praying for the elevation of their ranks in the hereafter, and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
“The entire nation salutes the martyrs who laid down their lives for the protection of our beloved country,” he said.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid heartfelt tribute to the martyred soldiers in the terrorist attack in Machh, Balochistan.
Condemning the incident in the strongest possible terms, he called the cowardly assault by terrorists a heinous and deplorable act.
Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss, Naqvi extended his condolences to the bereaved families of fallen soldiers.
He emphasized that the nation stands in solidarity with the families of the martyrs during this painful time.
“These brave sons of the soil have earned the highest honour through their martyrdom and will always be remembered as national heroes,” Naqvi stated.
He assured the families that their sacrifices would never be in vain and pledged the government’s unwavering support to them.
“The martyrs’ families are not alone — we are with them today and will stand by them forever,” the Interior Minister said, affirming the government’s commitment to continue the fight against terrorism until its complete eradication
