WEB DESK: Firing incident occurred during the anti-polio campaign in Mastung, resulting death of two officers.

According to the details, two officers were killed in a firing incident by unidentified individuals in Mastung. The slain officers were part of the security detail for the anti-polio team.

Police officials report the incident took place in the Teri area of Mastung, where the officers were performing security duties for the anti-polio team. Unidentified armed motorcycle riders opened fire.

Police says the victims are Naik Muhammad and Maqsood Ahmed. Following the incident, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search for the perpetrators.
