WEB DESK: Islamabad United’s captain, Shadab Khan, expressed that he finds it challenging to replicate his PSL performances at the international level.
During a press conference in Karachi, he shared that, he is dedicated to putting in the effort in domestic cricket while working on reducing his errors.
Shadab highlighted that their recent tour of New Zealand did not go as well as hoped, pointing out the importance of supporting players during tough times. “When you back the players, they are more likely to perform,” he emphasized.
He reflected on the national team’s overall performance throughout the year, acknowledging it hasn’t been ideal. However, he remains optimistic that players will regain their form and progress positively.
On the topic of Sahibzada Farhan, Shadab noted that Farhan is enjoying an impressive spell and extended his best wishes, expressing confidence that Farhan will continue to excel for the Pakistan team.
Additionally, Shadab commended Hasan Ali for his hard work over the last year, stating that he is now experiencing the fruits of his labor.
