Islamabad: Pakistan on Friday, today, rejected Indian Foreign Secretary statement against Pakistan adding as many as 40 innocents civilians have been martyred since May 7 in Indian unprovoked attack on Pakistan.
Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan in his weekly press briefing at the foreign office said that India can’t suspend the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) unilaterally.
The spokesperson said that India has been violating the sprits of the international pact adding suspension of the IWT will affect millions of People in Pakistan as the country based on agriculture.
He apprised that some parts of the Neelum-Jhelum Hydro project were destroyed in the Indian aggression.
He demanded the world community to hold responsible India on its illegal measures While he also oneceagain rejected the Indian allegations on the Pahalgam attack.
He urged the International community to take Indian war hysteria seriously as its war hysteria has posed serious threats to peace in the region.
India neglecting the world appeals of the restraint committed aggression on May 7 as it is violation of the international laws, he asserted.
He said that Indian allegations regarding the Pahalgam attack on Pakistan are baseless adding Pakistan demanded a transparent investigation of the attack on the other hand India resorted to false propaganda against Pakistan.
He questioned “Can a country be allowed to attack another country on basis of a social media post?”
Pakistan has been exercising maximum patience and restraint adding Indian action has placed two atomic powers face to face, he added.
He said “Pakistan knows defending itself. “
He questioned ” Did killers of 40 Pakistanis in the Samjhotha Express bring to court? ” He said that everyone knows Indian murder squad to other countries.
He said that the Mumbai attacks and Pathankot case could not be deicided owing to Indian hesitation.
