ISLAMABAD: In the budget 2025-26 Rs.2.55 trillion allocated for the Pakistan Army as per budget documents
As per detail, A total of 2.55 trillion rupees has been allocated for defense in the fiscal year 2025-26.
In the previous fiscal year, the defense budget was set at 2.122 trillion rupees. While delivering the budget speech in the National Assembly, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb stated that the security situation in the country is facing threats, and the armed forces have rendered commendable services in safeguarding the borders.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb also mentioned a proposal to provide a special relief allowance to officers, soldiers, and JCOs of the armed forces in recognition of their services. These expenses will be covered from the allocated defense budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.
