Pakistan won’t lose an inch of sacred land, Field Marshal Munir.

WEB DESK: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir emphasized that any future aggression against Pakistan would be met with a response far stronger than anticipated by the enemy. Speaking at the passing out parade of the Pakistan Military Academy, he reassured the nation that, with God’s will, not even an inch of Pakistan’s sacred land would ever be given to the enemy.

He extended congratulations to cadets from Bangladesh, Iraq, Mali, the Maldives, Nigeria, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Yemen for successfully completing their training at this prestigious institution.
He expressed immense gratitude to the martyrs and their families, whose sacrifices have ensured Pakistan’s freedom. Addressing the cadets, he urged them to honor the legacy of these martyrs and take pride in joining one of the world’s most respected armies.

The Field Marshal highlighted the professional excellence of Pakistan’s military, which has demonstrated remarkable capabilities in both conventional and sub-conventional warfare over the past two decades.
He stated that in any conflict, Pakistan’s weapons would have a far-reaching and destructive impact on the enemy and dispel India’s illusions of geographical expansion. Any aggression would result in military and economic losses for India, surpassing its expectations.

He advised Indian military leaders to recognize that there is no space for war between nuclear-armed countries and urged them to resolve outstanding core issues with Pakistan based on equality and mutual respect under international norms.

He firmly stated that Pakistan would not be intimidated by rhetoric and assured a decisive response to any provocation. He warned that any escalation, with potentially catastrophic consequences for the region and beyond, would be India’s responsibility.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir underscored the shifting global dynamics, where violence is increasingly employed to achieve political goals. Despite these challenges, he said, Pakistan has emerged as a stabilizing force in the region.

Through active participation in United Nations peacekeeping missions and strong diplomatic ties with global and Muslim nations, particularly Saudi Arabia, Pakistan has cemented its role as a promoter of peace and stability.

Discussing recent agreements with Saudi Arabia, he noted how these initiatives have strengthened ties between the two nations and contributed to peace efforts in the Middle East and South Asia.

He also highlighted Pakistan’s supportive role in peaceful negotiations with Iran while lauding its historical partnership with China.

He accused India of continuing its policy of state-sponsored terrorism even after failing to achieve its goals through conventional warfare. Exposing India’s support for groups like FItna-ul-Hind, he condemned its use of Afghan soil as a launchpad for terrorism against Pakistan.

He called on the Afghan people to prioritize mutual security over violence and urged Afghanistan’s Taliban regime to crack down on terrorist proxies operating from its territory. With the support of the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, he affirmed that such threats would be overcome.

Addressing terrorism within Pakistan, he declared that all state-sponsored proxies in neighboring regions would be neutralized, reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to counter misguided elements exploiting Islam for their purposes.

He also called for an end to Indian-sponsored repression in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and questioned how long Kashmiris would endure oppression and denial of their rights to self-determination. He reiterated Pakistan’s firm stance on supporting Kashmir.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stressed that Pakistan’s armed forces stand ready to protect the nation’s ideological and geographical boundaries. Citing verse 4 of Surah Al-Saff from the Holy Qur’an”Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause as though they are a unified structure”.

He cautioned against the pervasiveness of misinformation and fake news, urging people to rely on credible sources instead of falling prey to distorted narratives. Finally, he emphasized facing challenges with resilience, courage, and determination.
