ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Navy vessels, along with helicopters, have successfully rescued a family stranded in Sri Lanka for the past five days. Among those saved was a seven-month-old baby.
In coordination with local authorities, the Pakistan Navy has been actively assisting flood-affected residents by evacuating them from submerged areas and relocating them to safe locations. The rescue operation is ongoing as part of the Navy’s deployment in Sri Lanka under the “Safe Sri Lanka” mission.
These relief activities reflect Pakistan Navy’s commitment to strong friendship and regional solidarity with Sri Lanka during times of crisis.
