KARACHI: A local court in Karachi has granted bail to Armaghan, accused in the Mustafa Aamir murder case, who also faces charges under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and operating an illegal call center.
During the hearing, held in Karachi, defense counsel Khurram Abbas Awan argued that no charge sheet had been submitted against his client so far. He pointed out that the investigating officer had failed to appear in court and no witnesses had been presented to support the accusations.
The defense lawyer also highlighted the absence of a formal written complaint against Armaghan and urged the court to grant bail. After reviewing arguments from both sides, the court approved the bail plea, directing the accused to provide surety bonds worth Rs. 100,000.
It is important to note that Armaghan is currently involved in several legal cases, including allegations of illegal weapons possession and money laundering, which remain under trial.
