LAHORE: The CEO of KIPS College, Abid Wazir Khan, who was abducted from Lahore’s Johar Town area just a day ago, has been released by the kidnappers.

According to police reports, Abid Wazir Khan has safely returned home, and his medical condition is deemed satisfactory.

Investigations into the incident are still underway, with authorities working diligently to identify and apprehend those involved in the abduction.

Police officials have assured that all details surrounding the case will be revealed following the completion of the investigation.

As stated in the FIR registered at Johar Town Police Station, Abid Wazir Khan was kidnapped while leaving his office premises. At the time of the abduction, he was reportedly on a phone call with a female general manager who overheard the voice of an unidentified individual. This person claimed that the victim had caused a traffic accident involving their vehicle.

Kidnappers relocated the victim through various areas, including Multan Road, with his car eventually being traced near Manga Mandi. Preliminary findings suggest that three individuals were involved in the kidnapping.

Officials believe the suspects intended to move him out of the city. Six police teams are now actively conducting route tracking in and around Manga Mandi to further progress the investigation.
