Sharif underscored the importance of unity between these administrations for the welfare and stability of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the security front, PM stressed that seamless collaboration between Islamabad and Peshawar is vital to curbing violence. He encouraged the KP government to intensify its initiatives for fostering peace, highlighting the necessity for sustained provincial action against extremist threats. He also urged enhanced institutional strengthening to counter militancy effectively, emphasizing that joint efforts are crucial in eliminating terrorism in all forms.

The prime minister reiterated that ensuring safety and advancing public welfare are constitutional obligations of provincial governments. He called on KP’s leadership to focus on improving health and education services for its residents, aligning with broader national developmental goals. Assuring ongoing assistance within the framework of constitutional provisions, Sharif reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to supporting KP’s progress as a foundational part of Pakistan.
