Wali’s Tech clinched ownership of the team after an intense bidding war that lasted nearly an hour. The base price for the franchise had been set at Rs1.82 billion, making the final sale a noteworthy escalation in value.
The long-anticipated auction took place in Lahore at 6:00 pm, drawing significant attention from stakeholders. According to sources, five bidders had been adjudged technically eligible to join the race for acquiring the franchise.
