LAKKI MARWAT: Tragedy struck in Lakki Marwat as a six-year-old girl, who had gone to fetch water from a tubewell, was assaulted and raped by the son of the tubewell operator.

Police sources revealed that the young girl’s condition deteriorated following the assault, and the suspect managed to flee the scene. A police team promptly arrived at the location and transferred the girl to Government City Hospital in Lakki Marwat for urgent medical care.

During her treatment, two female doctors conducted a thorough medical examination, which confirmed that the girl had been raped. An FIR has been registered at the Lakki Marwat Police Station, and authorities have launched a search operation to locate and arrest the perpetrator.

It is important to note that this incident comes less than a month after a three-year-old girl was brutally murdered after being sexually assaulted within the same police jurisdiction.

According to the FIR, the young girl went missing on April 3, prompting her family to initiate searches. Her body was later discovered in a reed-filled forest approximately two kilometers from her home. The family reported that her body was found in a semi-nude state on that Sunday. Aliullah, the girl’s father, aged 32, told police that during their search, they found her lifeless body in the nearby woods. The body was taken to the Government City

Hospital, where a female doctor confirmed that she had been raped prior to her death.

Additional police officials, including the Station House Officer Fatehullah Khan, arrived at the hospital after being informed of the girl’s arrival. The police confirmed through medical examination that the girl had been sexually assaulted before she was murdered.

A manhunt is currently underway as authorities continue their efforts to apprehend the suspects involved in both cases.
