Gilani Submits Requisition For Senate Session

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has submitted a requisition with the Senate chairman to convene a session of the Senate on the Palestinian issue.

In the upper house, opposition leader Yousuf Raza Gilani contacted opposition parties in the Senate and discussed the situation in Palestine. After discussions with the opposition parties, Yousuf Raza Gilani submitted a request to the Chairman Senate to convene a joint sitting of the Upper House.

According to sources, the agenda of the Senate session will be to condemn Israeli barbarism during prayers during Ramadan in Al-Aqsa Mosque. The Senate will discuss the Israeli attack on Gaza and Israeli terrorism in the Palestinian territories.
