KARACHI: Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that celebrated Umar Sharif is the asset of the country.
Murtaza Wahab said that Sindh government has released funds to be paid to celebrated Pakistani comedian Umer Sharif for his treatment abroad besides also making arrangements for his air travel .
According to a notification issued by the provincial finance department, the Sindh government has released funds of Rs40 million for the ailing comedian.
The government also arranged an air ambulance for Umer Sharif so that he could be transported abroad for his medical treatment.
Son of Umar Sharif Jawad Umar has thanked the Sindh govrnment over speedy arrangements for his ailling father .He said that his father embodiment of patriotism and he represented the country across the world.
He said that his father spread laugh on the faces of the people while he requested the Sindh government to stop the pictures and videos of his father from hospital getting viral.
