Islamabad: Deputy Attorney General Khalid Mahmood on Sunday tendered his resignation against Deputy Speaker National Assembly (NA) Qasim Suri ruling declaring no confidence motion as illegal under article 5 (A) of the constitution.
Deputy Attorney General Khalid Mahmood declared the Deputy Speaker NA ruling as unconstitutional. He said that through this move of the government the constitution has been shattered.
Khalid Mahmood condemned the government step declaring it as a unconstitutional and against the democratic norms.
He said that he is no more can defend this government.
