RAWALPINDI: England dismantled Pakistan in the first Test, winning by a comfortable margin of 74 runs at the Pindi Cricket Stadium to take a 1-0 series lead after the “greatest test” for both teams bowlers on Monday.
The opening day of the Test match was historic for Ben Stokes XI, but Pakistan reacted brilliantly in their first innings despite the first three days of the match being unfavorable for bowlers. However, both teams batters had trouble in the second inning.
James Anderson, a seasoned bowler, claimed four wickets for England, and youngster Ollie Robinson also dismissed the batters and took four wickets.
