Peshawar: Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Mahmood Jam escaped the attack on his life as unidentified shot fires at him while the Deputy speaker remained unhurt in the incident.
The shooters’ run away from the spot after the incident. The Deputy Speaker and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader had gone to Reggi for an inauguration ceremony.
The Police have started a search operation for arrest of the culprits.
Mahmood Jan was elected MPA from Peshawar provincial assembly seat PK-66 in the last general elections in July 2018.
