Rawalpindi: A session court of Rawalpindi on Wednesday awarded death penalty to a man who killed a girl father over stopping him to tease her daughter.
Additional Session Judge Natasha Naseem Sapra pronounced the verdict. The court also directed the convict to pay fine of Rs 0.3 million to heirs of deceased family.
The wife of the deceased Samina Mahmood had registered an first information report (First Information Report) at the Police Station Waris Khan for murder of her husband Mahmood Asghar.
The police have arrested the Khawaja Tayyib on the FIR of the murder.
