Karachi: The existing storm Biparjoy in the Arabian sea has strengthened more while the tropical storm has 1120 Km away from Karachi.
Direction of the storm has changed while fears of hitting the storm to coastal areas of Pakistan and India. The track of storm will be clarified in a day or two.
The meteorological department has issued warning to fisherman’s to avoid going to sea from June 12 and onwards.
The very severe cyclonic storm was located over the east-central Arabian Sea located 840-kilometre west-southwest of Goa and 870 km west-southwest of Mumbai at 11.30pm on June 8, to intensify further gradually during next 36 hours and move nearly north-northwestwards in next 2 days,”
