Talking to the media on this occasion, MD Water Board and Sewerage Corporation Salahuddin said that water was being stolen from the 54-inch line of Haliji Lake by building a tunnel near Landhi Labor Square at a depth of 18 feet. MD Water Board said that water theft was going on under the guise of RO plant, Many gallon water tanks were built, 2 million gallons of water was being stolen every day.
The MD Water Board further said that legal action is being taken against the owners of the KSRO plant, while they will investigate their officers with the help of satellite images, Action of Rangers along with Water Board in Millers khan Labor Square, water theft tunnel was caught from this tunnel two million gallons of water were stolen daily.
