ISLAMABAD: On the request of the federal government, the Ministry of Interior formed a joint investigation team to investigate the social media campaign against Judges.
Ministry of Interior condemns campaign against judges and said “The social media attack by a political party on Judiciary is utterly reprehensible. Political parties should refrain from attacking the Institutions of the country,” the ministry said in a rare brief message posted on X, formerly known as Twitter
The team will be headed by the additional Director General of FI, the investigation team includes representatives of IB, ISI, DIG police and PTA, the team will identify those uploading content on social media against the Judges.
Anti – Judiciary campaigners will be challenged on social media, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will submit the progress report to the Home Ministry in fifteen days
