Baluchistan University Quetta Closed Indefinitely

QUETTA: Baluchistan University in Quetta has been closed indefinitely, with the administration announcing that all campuses, including the city campus, have moved to online teaching.

Teaching activities at Baluchistan University and all its campuses in Quetta have been shifted to virtual learning.

Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University had already initiated online classes for female students.

At Baluchistan University of Information Technology, Engineering, and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), all classes have been suspended until Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to the university’s announcement, all classes at IT University will be conducted online. The university’s transportation service has been suspended indefinitely.

The announcement also stated that teaching at the Zhob and Muslim Bagh campuses of the university will continue as usual.

Sources indicate that the universities have been closed due to security concerns.
