LAHORE: PML-Q women’s wing Punjab President and member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Tashfeen Safdar has stated that Islam is the only religion that has granted women due rights, whereas so-called civilized societies are exploiting the most.
Addressing an event held on International Women’s Day, MPA Tashfeen Safdar emphasized that women in Pakistan have yet to receive the full rights they truly deserve, but despite this, Pakistani women are safer than many other countries. She pointed out that in several societies, incidents of sexual violence and feticide are reported more frequently.
Tashfeen Safdar assured that PML-Q will continue to advocate for women’s rights and strive for improvements at the governmental level. She further stated that the overall situation for women in Pakistan remains better compared to other countries.
