Preps on go for Trump’s Inauguration Day

WASHINGTON: Donald Trump is set to ready for inaugurated as 47th President of United States on Monday 20th January.

Trump’s second presidential inauguration, set for January 20, is generating significant attention, with a host of high-profile figures from world politics expected to attend the event.

The joint congressional committee that administers the swearing-in ceremony on the Capitol grounds says it will be releasing more than 220,000 tickets for the event.

Strict security measures are being taken for the event, 25,000 police officers have been deployed along with a 48 km long black security fence and security checkpoints are being set up.

The 3-kilometer stretch from the White House to the Capitol will be closed to vehicular traffic.

President Joe Biden has confirmed that he will “definitely” attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.

On the other hand, the event is sure to attract global attention with a star-studded guest list as Trump begins his second term as the 47th President of the United States.

Invitations have been sent to several major world powers and key US allies. In which ٖFormer Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also is invited.
