ISLAMABAD: In a notable shift from its previous stance, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced it will not attend the All Parties Conference (APC) convened by the government to address the situation in Palestine.
ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan explained that this decision was made after extensive deliberations within the party. He noted that given the current circumstances, with many party leaders and members in detention, it was deemed inappropriate to participate in the APC.
The conference is scheduled to take place today at the Aiwan-i-Sadar, hosted by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Initially, the PTI had signaled its intention to participate but later reversed its decision, highlighting the party’s evolving stance in light of recent developments.
