Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Friday approving the government and other parties intra court appeals restored all the NAB amendments while rejecting annulment of the NAB amendments decision.
A larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faiz Isa and comprising Justice Aminuddin, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel, Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi announced the majority 5-0 verdict.
The top court in its verdict said that the founding chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) could not prove that the NAB amendments are unconstitutional
The SC had reserved the verdict against annulling the NAB amendments on June 6.
The SC has also issued a detailed written verdict consisting on 16 pages.
