ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Saturday during a high-level diplomatic engagement aimed at strengthening Pakistan–Iran relations.
The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s Office, was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, reflecting the importance Islamabad places on the discussions.
Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir was also present, highlighting the strategic dimension of the talks.
Earlier in the day, Araghchi separately met Field Marshal Asim Munir, where both sides exchanged views on regional security dynamics and avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation.
The series of meetings comes amid ongoing diplomatic activity between Pakistan and Iran, with both countries continuing consultations on regional developments and mutual interests.
