MINSK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Minsk for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Belarus.
Upon his arrival at Minsk International Airport, the Prime Minister was warmly received by Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, along with senior officials from the Pakistani Embassy in Belarus.
Accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif are Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold high-level talks with President Alexander Lukashenko, focusing on enhancing cooperation and reviewing progress in areas of mutual interest.
Both sides are expected to sign a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) to further deepen collaboration in various sectors, including trade, investment, technology, and education.
This visit highlights the growing strategic partnership between Pakistan and Belarus and reaffirms their shared commitment to fostering closer diplomatic and economic relations.
