ISLAMABAD: It has been disclosed that 16 officers of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) hold foreign citizenship. Among these, 10 are from the Inland Revenue Service and 6 from the Customs Service.
According to documents, ten officers at Grade 20 possess dual citizenship and green cards, while five officers at Grade 19 are also dual nationals.
Under Rules 2026, all government officers are required to disclose their foreign citizenship. They were instructed to submit details of their dual nationality by July 8. However, despite the deadline passing, several officers have yet to submit their declarations.
