Jamal Shah, Member of the National Assembly, inaugurated a train service, joined by the DS Railways and other railway officials.
The newly launched train consists of 10 carriages and departed from Quetta to Peshawar, accommodating over 400 passengers. Passengers underwent thorough security checks at the railway station, and enhanced security measures have been put in place on the train itself.
According to railway officials, the suspension of the train service caused a loss of 9 million rupees.
It is important to note that the Jafar Express experienced a terrorist attack on March 11, which resulted in the temporary halt of its services. However, after a 17-day pause, the train has now resumed its journey from Quetta railway station.
