Lahore: A vital huddle of Interior Ministry and Pakistan Cricket Board officials on Thursday decided to shift all remaining matches of Pakistan Super Leauge- 10 to Karachi.
The huddle in chair of the PCB Chairman and Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has decided to transfer all the remaning matches in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan to Karachi.
Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise owners attended the meeting at the PCB headquarter in Gaddafi Stadium.
With the current national circumstances in mind, the meeting primarily focused on the challenges surrounding the remaining matches of the PSL and the upcoming series against Bangladesh.
Sources said that due to security situation and closure of air space can pose a complicated situation.
The decision has been taken after the security forces shot down a drone in Rawalpindi cricket stadium.
The meeting also included senior PCB officials and representatives from law enforcement agencies.
