ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have jointly conveyed warm wishes to Muslims in Pakistan and around the world on the sacred night of Shab-e-Meraj.
In separate statements, they highlighted the spiritual importance of Shab-e-Meraj, which marks the miraculous night journey of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). They stressed that this night holds great significance for the Muslim community worldwide.
The President highlighted that the story of Meraj inspires core values such as faith, patience, and obedience. He added that it serves as a reminder that difficulties are temporary, and Allah’s mercy and support are eternal.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the night of Meraj urges Muslims to live their lives in accordance with Islamic principles, fostering tolerance, brotherhood, justice, and social harmony within the community.
