ISLAMABAD: Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that collective efforts are needed to eradicate corruption.
Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal in a statement said that corruption is not only the root of evils but it also adversely affects the economy, social justice and quality of life of the state.
He said that the NAB is pursuing a policy of accountability for all.Now it has become a challenge for the country, he added.
The Chairman NAB said that money laundering, corruption, misuse of power, assets beyond known sources of income and fraud against the people are major challenges in Pakistan.
He said that the graft buster body is committed to eradicating corruption.
