Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Member of Sindh Assembly (MPA) Amir Siddique has demanded cleaning of waterways of Karachi in wake of monsoon rains
The MQM-P MPA has submitted call attention notice in the SA on Monday in which he demanded cleaning of waterways before monsoon.
Amir Siddique also feared drowning of important areas of Karachi while he said that the Islamia College waterways be cleaned on emergency basis.
In his calling attention notice he apprised that Kashmir road, Jehangir road, Hyderabad colony have been affected in the past.
He said that if the cleaning of waterways not were happened the areas can be inundated.
He also said that the area residents can suffer from diseases if the waterways are not cleaned.
