LAHORE: In Punjab Security forces operated 436 search and sweep operation within 24 hours.
According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Police, intelligence-based search and sweep operations and drills are ongoing.
The spokesperson stated that in the last 24 hours, 436 search and sweep operations and 8 drills were conducted across Punjab.
During these operations, 38 most-wanted criminals involved in serious crimes and 123 suspicious individuals were arrested. From them, 2 Kalashnikovs, 12 guns, 20 handguns, and hundreds of bullets were recovered. Additionally, 43 kilograms of hashish, 2 kilograms of heroin, and 560 grams of ice were also seized.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, drills to combat terrorists and criminals are continuing, with participation from Punjab Police, CTD, Special Branch, Elite Force, and Rescue 1122.
