Iran files complaint against IAEA chief at the united nations

TEHRAN: Iran has lodged a complaint against Rafael Mariano Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), with the United Nations.

The Iranian ambassador to the UN has submitted a request to the UN Secretary-General and the head of the Security Council regarding Grossi.

The Iranian ambassador described the IAEA’s failure to condemn Israeli attacks and threats on nuclear facilities as disappointing. In his letter, Amir Saeed Iravani stated that Grossi did not condemn Israel’s attacks on Iran, which is a violation of IAEA principles. He accused Grossi of consistently failing to maintain impartial and professional standards.

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization chief, Mohammad Eslami, had previously warned of legal action against Grossi on Thursday for his failure to halt Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. It is noteworthy that Israel has been continuously launching attacks on various Iranian nuclear sites, with today being no exception, as Israel targeted a nuclear site in Isfahan.
