Islamabad: The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) meeting will be held today once again.
Chief Justice (CJ) Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) Justice Qazi Faez Essa will preside the meeting.
The meeting will review complaints against Justice Muzahir Ali Akbar Naqvi.
The SJC has called complainants against Justice Muzahir Ali Akbar Naqvi along with all the evidences and witnesses. .
The council had rejected the complaints against Justice Sardar Tariq Masood. The council had also announced to decide about action against Amna Malik after some time.
The SJC also issued a notice to Advocate Azhar Siddiq. The SJC has asked a clarification from Azhar Siddiq in seven days.
Justice Muzahir Ali Akbar Naqvi challenges SJC action in SC
Yesterday, Justice Muzahir Ali Akbar Naqvi had challenged action of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) in the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court (SC) Judge had approached the SC against action of the SJC. Justice Muzahir Naqvi had insisted the SC in the petition to end the action of the SJC.
He also insisted the top court to declare received notice of next action of the SJC as illegal.
